Remota
Patagonia will have three different programs,
3, 4 and 7 nights:
Wednesday to Saturday - 4-days/3-nights
Saturday to Wednesday - 5-days/4-nights
We have 3, 4 and 7 day programs with set arrival
and departure to discover the Chilean Patagonia.
To achieve the perfect experience, we have a
72 room hotel and comfortable all terrain vehicles
for outings and excursions.
Our programs include:
Transport between Punta Arena Airport and the
Remota Patagonia Hotel.
Shuttle
from airport to hotel is between noon and 4pm
and from hotel to airport: 8am to 10am.
Room
and board at the Remota Patagonia Hotel.
Breakfast,
Lunch and Dinner menus that include soft drinks
and house wine.
Use
of facilities such as: Sauna, outdoor Jacuzzi
and indoor pool.
Daily
outings and excursions with bilingual (English

Puerto
Natales and its people.

Description:
This excursion begins with a drive toward the hills
of Puerto Natales, area where the local families
have their greenhouses with fruits and vegetables.
You will enjoy a visit with local families.From
there, we will take you to the piers where you can
see the fishing boats. Here you will be able to
find out more regarding the fishing activities of
this area. Area surrounded by glaciers and mountains.
The excursion continues with a short walk to the
downtown area. It will take you by the main square
in the center of the city across from the catholic
parish, the Municipality, Governor’s office,
and the most evocative buildings of the Patagonia
colonization.
This excursion also includes a visit to the Puerto
Natales Museum. Very interesting museum where you
can appreciate the legacy of the Indians, pioneers
and settler’s of the Patagonia.Afterward,
we will return to the hotel. |
Puerto
Bories- Puerto Prat.

Description:
This excursion will take you to the Puerto Bories
area by a comfortable van. It was for many years
the center of all activities in Patagonia.
As well, as a spectacular view of the mountains
and glaciers that encircle the Ultima Esperanza
Fiord, you will be able to see enormous buildings,
which during the first two thirds of the 20th century
were used as factories and treatment plants for
leather that was sold abroad.
This excursion includes a visit to the Historic
Museum. With fascinating displays and information
about the development of the human presence in Patagonia.
Next, you will take a placid stroll trough the hillsides
that form Puerto Prat Fiord coastline. This will
give you a breathtaking view of the mountains and
sea.
After that, you will be taken back to the hotel. |
Cueva
Del Milodon and the Lakes.

Description:
Travel by van towards the natural reserve known
as “Cueva del Milodon”, “Milodon
Cave”Here you will visit the most impressive
geological formation. Cueva del Milodon was for
centuries a refuge for an almost mythical prehistoric
animal and an important settlement for the diverse
groups of people that came to this territory. After,
taking this incredible view we will continue our
journey to the Lago Porteno area, right below Tenerife
Mountain, from that point we will have the most
incredible view of the Torres Del Paine Massif.Depending
on the weather conditions we will return to the
hotel either the same way or by the virgin route
that connect this area with the frontier villa of
Cerro Castillo and the lake Porteno,Maravilla and
Toro coastlines. |
Sierra
Dorotea Trek.

Description.
After a short drive we will get to the foot of the
mountain chain, which surrounds Puerto Natales.
Here we will start a walk toward Ultima Esperanza
Fiords lookout points. Here we would be able to
appreciate the enormity of the Patagonia territory.
We will also be able to enjoy the view of the fiords,
glaciers and mountains present in this part of the
country Return to the hotel from this point. |
Sofia
Lake and its Valley
Half Day Excursion

Description.
A short drive to the Laguna Sofia. Here we will
take a stroll down to the lake’s shore. This
will give us an opportunity to see, beautiful forest
in the valley just below the geological formations
that conform this mountains. After this peaceful
and relaxing walk we will be near the area where
the vans will be waiting for us to take us to the
hotel |
Fiord
and Canals toward the Glaciers.
Half Day Cruise

Description.
Most likely, very early in the morning we will get
on board one of the Patagonia canals boats Before
sunrise we will be sailing towards the glaciers
that come from Monte Balmaceda and Serrano. At sunrise
we will see these huge hanging glaciers, in the
middle of the mountains with dense vegetation. We
will reach land at Puerto Toro where we will disembark.
We will walk to the very front of the Glacier Serrano.Our
journey back we will be a tranquil and relaxing
one, enjoying great views of the fiords and canals. |
Torres
Del Paine National Park Excursions.

Description.
We will start this excursion on board of a van,
driving through the most amassing viewpoints to
see the Patagonian wildlife. Around Lago Sarmiento
and the area known as “Canadon Macho”
we will have the opportunity to see very large groups
of guanacos that they go on with their life’s
without paying any attention to our presence. Depending
on the time of the year we will easily be able to
see how they younger males challenge the older ones
for the privilege of leading familial herds or female
guanacos give birth, and their offspring’s,
called chulengos, learning to walk within minutes
of being born.
At the lagoons area, we will enjoy incredible views
of some of the world's rarest and most beautiful
bird species, as well as ducks, swans, flamingos
and the beautiful Andean condor.
Depending on the weather conditions we will be able
to enjoy a walk at the Lago Sarmiento shore to uncover
more of this incredible Patagonia. At the shore
of the lagoon known as “Laguna Azul”
at the foothills of Sierra Masle, we will enjoy
one of the best views of the famous three towers
or cuernos that give this park its name.

Description.
We begin with a drive towards the west area of the
park, to the beech forest, large rivers and lagoons
. Where we will be able to see the glaciers descending
from the South Ice Fields.On a clear day, we will
be able to see the plateau of the Ice Field it self.
Next is off to Lago Nordesnkjold, the impressive
waterfall known as Salto Grande and Lago Pehoe lookout
points. After that, we will reach the Pampa of Serrano
River. At this point, we will be at one of the best
known areas of the Patagonia.
Finally, we will reach Valle Pingo forest at the
Lago Grey’s shore taking a walk at only few
feet of the icebergs from Glacier Grey, right across
from us on the other side of the lake.Weather permitting
we can trek (1.5 hours) on the shores of Lago Nordeskjold
to reach the Massif del Paine and towers lookout
points. |

Description.
A two and a half hours drive will take us to Estancia
Lazo (Ranch Lazo). From here we enter the park
through Paso Alberto D’gostine. During 2.5
hours we will traverse trough valleys and forest
that very few have visit, until we reach Lago
del Toro lookout point. It will be a 15 minutes
hike with a moderate hill. Once there, we have
a 360º view of this marvelous territory.
Glacier, icebergs, granite mountains, extensive
pampas and lakes will appear in front of us. After
we have the chance to take it all in, we begin
descending trough very sandy terrains that will
take us to meet the vans. |
Valleys
and Sierra Baguales Hillsides Trekking

Description.
We start this journey from the hotel, toward Estancia
Las Cumbres, in Sierra Baguales, a two and a half
hour ride. From this point we start trek through
valleys and hills. We will have a chance to observe
fossils and other geological phenomena characteristically
of this mountain range.After this walk we return
to the hotel.
